  • Do you help start-ups or established businesses?

    I work with both start-ups and established business owners. Already on offer I have the Bronze Private Coaching & Mentoring Program for start-ups as well as more established businesses. The Silver Fast Start Client Attraction Package, Gold Virtual VIP Program and Platinum VIP program are typically for businesses that have been in operation for upwards of a year. Packages and services can also be tailored to suit individual needs. So if you do not find anything that suits you, please get in touch and we will put a package together for you!

  • Who is your ideal client?

    I love this question! Answering it helps to make sure that I work with those I am best able to serve. My ideal client typically:

    • Is a female small business owner or has plans to set up her own business;
    • Is passionate about the work she does/plans to do, really obviously passionate, (I don’t want to work with people who are lukewarm or show no passion);
    • Takes action once she knows what to do;
    • Takes personal responsibility for her own success/failure, not playing the blame game;
    • Has integrity, i.e. she keeps her word to herself and to others. I don’t want to work with people who do not do what they say they will, such as showing up on time, doing assignments etc
    • Is self-motivated, does not need coaxing and pushing to get things done, is not a whiner or excuse-giver;
    • Has a positive outlook on life;
    • Is open to learning new things, new ways of being and doing

  • Do you coach in person or over the telephone?

    I coach via telephone, Skype, and in person. This could be group or private coaching.

  • Are your clients only from the UK?

    No. Since I am able to work via the phone and internet, location is not an issue.

  • How could I get started with you?

    Sign up for my eBook, 12 Reasons Women Business Owners Struggle to Get Clients. You will also receive a subscription to my fortnightly newsletter, Get Clients Cafe. Then follow Step 2, sign up for your complimentary session where we will discuss your way forward.   • What if I can’t afford to work with you right now?

    You would make some progress by signing up to receive my free ebook, 12 Reasons Women Business Owners Struggle to Get Clients, which also subscribes you to my newsletter, Get Clients Cafe. Reading every issue of the newsletter and the posts at my blog will provide many useful tips you can use right away. You can also visit the Free Stuff page to listen to my quick-tip podcasts and receive other free resources. As your business grows you can then consider investing in further support through a coaching or home study program.

  • How did you get into coaching women small business owners?

    I love empowering women, and women business owners fit the description of my ideal client! Being a woman and an entrepreneur means that I understand the issues we face in building our businesses. Especially in the area of getting regular clients as many women are not comfortable with aggressive sales techniques. My own struggles and triumphs led me to create solutions for women who are where I once was.

  • Why are you focused on women? Wouldn’t you make a lot more money if you opened your services up to men?

    (I get asked this one often!) My purpose involves empowering women. When I work along these lines I am empowered to do what I’m called to do. So it doesn’t feel like work, in fact I love it so much that I have to tear myself away from it at the end of each day. If I try to do anything else, it’s a struggle, and generally not worth it. Occasionally I work with men, but the incidences are few and far between.

  • Is it not discriminatory to work only with women?

    No, it is not! Just as you would not call gynaecologists discriminatory for working only with women, gerontologists for serving the elderly, paediatricians for working with children or a weight management consultant for working only with the overweight. I am providing services to a specialised niche. It is not discriminatory or illegal to serve a niche.

  • What qualifies you to support women small business owners?

    My experience over 21 years, learning what works and what doesn’t; my training as a coach; being mentored by two very successful and excellent business coaches, the results I am able to help my clients achieve, the results I have achieved myself.

  • How are you different from any other business coach? Why should I work with you?

    Among other things my services are specially tailored for women like you. I am not a generalist coach but a specialist; my work is congruent with my purpose so it comes naturally to me to empower you above your challenges; I draw upon my experience and training as an educator and am therefore able to facilitate your learning and development; my clients find me inspiring and motivational, which helps them overcome their challenges.   • Some coaches charge an hourly rate. Why are you not doing so?

    I find it more productive to focus on the transformation I help my clients achieve, and not the length of time we spend together. For this reason my services are offered as packages for specific outcomes, and not blocks of time.

  • How do you stay on top of your game and keep your skills sharp?

    I am passionate about personal and professional development and invest regularly in this area. I currently have 2 mentors, one for business skills and the other for the specific area of client-attraction. I also attend training events and do a great deal of personal study. I belong to professional associations and undertake training with these bodies.

  • Which professional associations do you belong to?

    Currently, I am a member of the International Association of Coaching (IAC) and Coachville.

  • What are your professional qualifications?

    I hold a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed, Benin),

    Coaching Diploma, (SNHS, UK)
    NLP Diploma (NLP Excellence, UK)
